Few factors affecting pregnancy test
It has become very easy for anyone to check if they are pregnant or not. There are many ways to check if you are pregnant or not one being the urine pregnancy test kit and the other is the blood pregnancy test. The easiest way to check pregnancy is by using a home pregnancy test kit. It gives you instant results. In order to achieve 100% accurate results then you need to follow the instructions given religiously. It might go wrong if you don't do it the right way. The other important factor is the time, when you do your pregnancy test is also important.
Women who want to conceive always want to know the results as soon a possible and of course would expect accurate results. The results of the pregnancy test depend on when you do it. The time in reference to how long after ovulation has occurred or how long after the fertilized egg has been implanted. HCG which is the pregnancy hormone needs some time at least a week to spread or settle down in the blood of human beings or a woman. Pregnancy is determined only if the levels of HCG hormone are high in blood as well as urine. The brand of the urine pregnancy kit that you choose might also make a huge difference to the results. It is not necessary that all urine pregnancy kits are designed to detect small traces of the HCG hormone. So the results might be negative if the test is done within a very short span o time say less than a week. The HCG hormone spreads very fast in the body and in order to completely be sure about the pregnancy you need to wait for at least a week.
In a normal woman's body ovulation occurs every 13th or 14th day starting from the first day of her menstruation cycle. Ovulation is a process of releasing eggs, when an egg enters fallopian tube it lives for about 12 to 24 hours and then dies off until and unless it is fertilized. The sperm lives for about 5 days. The chances of pregnancy increase if the sperm is already present in the fallopian tube. After the fertilization happens the egg stays in the fallopian tube for quite a few days. The egg starts dividing and then it forms a multi-celled zygote. After the zygote gets inside the uterus the fertilized egg makes a thick lining in the uterus. Pregnancy can be detected only if the implantation of the zygote occurs. This in turn helps the corpus luteum in maintaining the inner lining of the uterus till the placenta is formed which is the connecting chord between the baby and the mother. The production of HCG hormone which is the pregnancy hormone begins and the traces of this hormone can be detected in just a day after the implantation occurs.
It takes about five to seven days after ovulation in order to see traces of the pregnancy hormone. The levels of this hormone are very low initially but then the levels increase to at least double every other day. This is the hormone responsible for the various pregnancy symptoms.
