Gardens and parks are meant for relaxation. And still there are certain instructions which are to be followed strictly. These instructions are given with the help of sign boards. And its our duty to follow these instructions and directions.

There are park signs like entrance and exit. These sign boards help the visitors to go in the right direction instead of just wandering around finding ways. This would avoid confusion in everyone's mind. Paths in a park can be very confusing. To solve this problem there are different direction giving park signs which would tell you where to go. Then there are sign boards instructing not to drive cycle or skate at the pedestrian road. As people come for picnics in parks they would sure bring food and even plan to cook there. There are areas meant for cooking. Some boards would tell you which area is designated for cooking. Many people would bring their pets to parks for walks. Park signs also say let your pets foul here. Then there are areas especially for old people. There are sign boards informing that.

Some park signs would have just images on them. These images or graphics would convey the message in just one glance. And the most advantageous thing is that these park signs mean the same in any place of the world. These sign boards have universal application.

Not following the rules and regulations could put you in trouble. Any person found doing some forbidden thing would be heavily penalized.

The rules and instructions are mostly set by the government or departments like municipality or agriculture. In parks where you can find different species of birds and animals, the safety and reservation of these animals is also to be checked very strictly. Such parks have many different rules to follow. And hunting is strictly prohibited in these parks.
